Abuse or misuse of authority::When a superior takes advantage of his command for his own benefit or to treat a person in an inadequate, Incorrect, Improper, Unlawful or Illegal manner. (When the boss asks the employee to perform any conduct or activity outside the company's policies, when there is a lack of respect, preferential/differential treatment to collaborators, assignment of humiliating tasks).
Discrimination::Verbal or physical conduct that separates and considers people inferior because of their race, social class, religion, sex, sexual preference, ethnic background or beliefs. Examples can occur in the hiring process, in assignments, dismissals, promotions, benefits, training, language and treatment of a person.
Bullying::When a person persecutes, harasses, annoys or mistreats another person psychologically, physically, verbally, occupationally or sexually. For example, insinuations, messages with sexual content, excessive physical contact, belittling, disqualification in front of others, indifferent treatment.
Coercion::It consists of forcing a person through intimidation, violence or threat to perform an act against his or her will, the law and/or the rules established by the company. For example, providing confidential information by intimidation, hindering an internal process at the express request of someone.
Immoral conduct::Behaving in a wrongful manner. For example, intentionally staining, wetting or causing a similar nuisance to one or more persons, smoking in prohibited places, performing unseemly acts within the company's facilities.
Undue hiring or remuneration::Hiring, remunerating or compensating personnel outside of what is authorized; hiring personnel with a criminal record, due to patronage or inappropriate behavior.
Sabotage or vandalism::Destruction of the company's or an employee's belongings, such as tools or materials. For example, destruction of equipment, theft, computer viruses, etc.
Violation of policies::Actions that violate company policies, procedures, codes of conduct or implied contractual responsibilities. Examples include: security, Internet use, corporate guidelines.
Violence::Violence is the act or intent to cause, injury or damage to a person or their property. Examples include such acts in a direct, covert, conditional or violent manner.
